Freebie Friday

Hello my blog friends!
I am sorry this post is late but I have been so busy, you know how it is...
This weeks freebie is an instruction file on how to make a stretch card, these cards are so easy to make, there is no cutting and slotting together like some others.

Here is a picture of a stretch card to give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

Side view:

As usual you will find this download on my main site on the freebie and tutorial page under the tutorials.

Here are the last of my Christmas cards for this year:

These cards were made with a Sizzix pop up tree die.
Ok, I promise no more Christmas cards!

All that's left to say now, is I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Tina x

Freebie Friday

Good evening Bloggers!
Christmas is nearly here!, are you all ready for it? I'm nearly there, I think!
The weeks are just flying by now, or is that just me?

Here are some of the cards I have been making this week:

The first card actually isn't a Christmas one for a change! This one was made for a friends Grandson who will be 4 this month and is having a pirate tea party, so this fits in well with the theme.
Happy Birthday Jack!

This card was made using Spellbinder dies, there is a silver piece of card mounted onto a white base. The next mat has been cut using Spellbinder bracket dies and then embossed. The bauble is from the heirloom bauble set and made into a shaker card with a stamped message background. The card is finished with a white bow, with a snowflake and gem on top. The bottom of the card has silver braiding as a border.

The last card was made using Spellbinder card creator dies in cream and white, mounted onto wine colour card. The stamp is a Stampin' up one which I coloured using pencils and highlighted with pens.

Freebie Friday
This weeks freebie is breaking away from Christmas, I thought for a change I would do something on a male theme. There is a decoupage stack with a sports car and the other is a motorbike for those petrol headed men in your life!
As usual the download can be found on the main site.

Freebie Friday

Good evening Bloggers, Are you ready for Christmas?
Well, its that time again, if you liked the freebie Friday from a short while ago of Christmas inserts then you are in for a treat. This weeks freebie are some more inserts but this time they are A6 as we don't all make the same size cards, do we?
As usual you can find the download on the main site.
I thought you might like to see some samples I have been making for a demo in January:

The cards have all been made using Sizzix pop ups dies, to use these dies you also need a base card die.

Early freebie

Hi everyone, I am going away this weekend and so I am putting the freebie on early this week.
Before I put the details of the freebie on, here is the project I am doing with the ladies at club tomorrow:

The lantern is made from 4 cuts from the Marianne lantern die. I put an acetate backing on each window and used small tabs to stick the pieces together. The tops of the lantern are folded over and glued in place and then finished off with a bow on top. The candle is a battery operated tea light, (I wouldn't recommend using a lit tea light)

Below is this weeks freebie, well I say freebie, it is actually a tutorial on how to make the card.
As usual you will find the tutorial on my main site on the free download page under tutorials, listed as Mica resist technique.

All for now, see you soon, Tina x

Today's freebie is a collection of Christmas inserts for you to print and use inside your cards. The inserts are in A5 and come in both portrait and landscape. Please be patient as the file is quite large and may take a while to download, as usual it can be found on my main site
Have a good weekend and I'll see you soon, Tina x

Over stamped card, continued...

Good evening bloggers! I hope you enjoyed the tutorial from Friday? I thought I would share another card I have made using the same technique but different size card.
This one was made from an A5 card and I have to say, I am really pleased with it!

The large flower stamp is from Little Claire and I think the flourish is from one of their sets as well. It has been coloured using promarkers.

The next card is a project we made at a card group on Saturday, you have to read both the front and the back to get the message!

Thank you to Elsa Cox for that one.
Dont forget to check back on Friday for the freebie, all for now, Tina x

Free tutorial

Happy Friday people!
I cant believe its Friday already! I hope you have all had a good week? I have a terrible cold which has reached its peak today. I am off to club for the day tomorrow, so I hope to be feeling a bit better for that.
I have a tutorial for you today on how to make an over stamped card. As usual you will find the file on my main site which I have just changed slightly. You will now find two columns on the download page, one has all the freebie files and the other has the tutorials in the hope they will be easier to find.
Here are a couple of samples of the card:

Freebie Friday

Hello everyone!
I hope you have all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend?
I am going to a craft sale tomorrow at the Lincoln showground because I obviously need more craft stuff! Maybe I'll see you there!

I know I am probably boring you now but I have been making yet more Christmas cards, these are just a few of them:
For the background cut out I used a tonic die set and the decoupage is Forever Friends

Papers are all from a Forever Friends set I have had for the last couple of years and I am still wading my way through them!

Another Tonic die cut card with Forever Friends

Same again

This card was made using another Tonic die cut card, the village is a Marianne die, then I finished off with ribbon and a couple of buttons.

Now, to this weeks freebie, with Christmas drawing ever nearer, I have made some old fashioned Christmas card stacks for you. You have a choice of printing as a single layer but looking as though it has layers or printing out the sheets with the layers and stacking them up.
As usual you can find the download at the main site, here is a preview of the download

Stamping day

Good evening all, I hope you had a good weekend?
Mine was very busy as usual! My husband and I went to a vintage fair at the Spa in Scarborough on Saturday. We were all dressed up and had to walk in the wind and rain to get there, needless to say we had lots of people giving us funny looks! I wore something that once I took my fur and hat off, I didn't look too out of place, especially as we were stopping for a meal on the way home!
Sunday was the annual stamping day which is in aid of Childline and always a really good day.
Here are the photos of the cards I made:

This put me in the mood for making yet more Christmas cards yesterday and so this is what I came up with:

I think I am getting close to the point where the mere site of a Christmas topper makes me yawn! I have made about 130 so far, how about you?

Freebie Friday-Halloween inserts

Happy Friday people!
That time of the week is here again, my doesn't the time fly?
With Halloween fast approaching, I have given some A5 inserts in portrait and landscape as today's freebie.
As usual, you can go to my main site for the file.
I have had a really busy week and so haven't had time to do much, I made some very quick and easy Christmas cards using embossing folders and die cuts:

This one is a card run through an embossing folder, I then added a die cut bell and peel off. I then finished it with a bow and some gems. Very simple!

This one is another embossing folder which I lightly inked over and added the same bell in a different colour. Again I finished with a bow and a greeting peel off.

Have a good weekend, all for now Tina x

Papplewick Pumping Station 40s weekend 2013

Good evening Bloggers, I hope you have had a really good weekend? It always seems so short doesn't it?
I was at Eagle on Saturday for craft club, as usual I had a good time with all my friends.
Here are the cards I made:

Today we went to Papplewick Pumping station for a 40s weekend, we were lucky with the weather and had a really good time.
Here is the evidence!
