Latest cards

Evening Bloggers, I hope you are having a good week?
I have been busy, we had Jo Channon do a class with us on Saturday, which was really enjoyable.
Here are the cards we made:

I have been busy trying to use up some of my bits out of my "bit" box, ( I know you all have one!) These were all left over toppers from various sheets. Here is what I came up with:

Enjoy the rest of the week, all for now,
Tina x

Freebie Friday

Hi everyone, are you all ready for the weekend?
I have had a busy week as usual, I did a demo yesterday which went well I think! It was the card from the last post. I am out all day tomorrow to craft and chat club and we have Jo Channon from C&C coming, so looking forward to that one.
I have made a couple of cards this week, this is one of them which is for my Stepdad who is a biker.

The image is a digistamp from La Pashe which I mounted onto black card, this had been put through an embossing folder and then gone over with gilding wax. I have gone a bit mad on using cogs on mens cards at the moment, sorry, but I just love them! I finished off with a stamped sentiment on a Spellbinder die cut.
I have put a freebie Friday on for you today, which I think is a lovely summery image, here is a preview. As usual, you will find the full file on the download page of my main site. Have a lovely weekend, all for now, Tina x

Project for the girls

Good evening Bloggers! I trust you are all well? I must say, I have been a bit disappointed where we live, I have been waiting for a really good thunder storm as I love watching them, I have been let down!We have had a few rumbles and plenty of rain but nothing to write home about on the storm front and it is still as hot as ever.
Tomorrow is my last meeting of the season until September with the ladies at the bowls club and guess who is doing the demo?
Well here it is:

To create the card base, I cut my card 5 1/4 x 11 inches, I scored the card at 3 inches from each end creating an overlapping gatefold (it overlaps to allow for the card lost when the shape is cut). I then cut each end using a Marianne die and cut them at different directions to make them fit nicely together. I added some faux leaves and used a multitude of flower punches including the tonic petals and pairs to create the bouquet. I stamped a verse on the inside and used a die cut frame to accentuate it. The front was finished off with a bow and a small greeting. I hope they like and enjoy recreating it!
Bye for now, Tina

Freebie Friday

Good evening bloggers! Are you all enjoying this heat? I have to say, I don't like it myself and I try and stay out of it as much as possible. I hope you are looking forward to a nice weekend?
I am sorry I haven't posted for a couple of weeks, I just don't know where the time has gone! I have been so busy with friends and clubs and of course the Doncaster craft show, where I had a lovely time spending all my money!
Today's download is a very pretty, summery one, which I hope you will like. It is from a painting called  "The time of the lilacs". The download includes toppers, and decoupage done as a stack and as invertage.
You will find the main download on the main site, here is a preview for you. Please be patient as the files take a couple of minutes to download.
