Good evening Bloggers! I hope you have had a good weekend?
We have had a busy one as usual, we went to Mr Straws house on Saturday. This is a house in Worksop which was owned by the Straw family since the 1920's and when the parents of the two sons died, they decided they must keep the house and belongings exactly as it was when their parents were alive. When the last of the brothers died he left the items inside the house to the National Trust who then bought the house (and later on the house next door), so they could keep the house in its entirety. It is worth a visit if you are ever in Worksop but you need to book on a tour before hand.
I apologise for the lateness of the freebie this week but I have just been very busy, as usual if you go to the main site you will find this weeks freebie, which is called "make do and bake".
That's all for now, Tina
Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteThat tour about the house must have been really interesting, how differently some people live their lives but at the same time, if there no people like that we wouldn't have any record of how it was. Fascinating!!
Thank you for the download, that was something different as well, lovely really lovely, so again thank you very much.
Best wishes, always
Jean
