Good evening bloggers! Are you ready for the weekend? I am sorry for the lack of posts over the last week, I had a knee operation last Friday and so I have been trying to rest and hobbling about on crutches for the last week.
It has been difficult trying to do things which don't involve too much movement and so I went mad on Wednesday and sat with my air dry clay and moulds and made some lovely toppers, as you can see from this picture.
I used some gilding wax on some of the toppers and you can really see the difference, it really brings them to life.
At one of my craft clubs, we had a competition where we were given a kit to make a card, we had to make the original card with the kit and then take the second kit home and make a variation. These were the two I made, below is the first original card.
This is my variation.
This was the second original.
My variation.
Unfortunately I didn't win but I was happy with what I had made.
I have also made this card especially for a regular customer. The main card was designed using the digital designer program, I then decoupaged the images and added a Cheery Lynn corner die and a flower with a gem in the centre.

I am off to craft club tomorrow for the day, I hope you enjoy your weekend, all for now, Tina x

Good evening all, there are a couple of guys leaving where my husband works and he asked me to make cards for them. One is into fishing and is moving to Blackpool, the other is going back to driving buses, so can I incorporate these things into the cards? Not much of an ask eh??? Well, this is what I came up with, I do hope they like them!

The first one is a Flippin' men decoupage done onto an aperture card, I printed a picture of Blackpool tower and put that inside and finished it off with a die cut message.

The second card has another Flippin' men decoupage, I printed the background from a CD and the bus is a die cut from an old Sizzix die.

Good evening bloggers, tonight's blog is dedicated to my friend Jean.
She recently asked me how to make a reverse easel card, so just for you Jean I have written up instructions which can now be downloaded on the main site.
Meanwhile, here is a picture of the one I made earlier for the sake of the instructions!

Here are the instructions on how to make the card:

Reverse easel card
Ingredients
Card
Dies
Embellishments/toppers etc
Tools
Die cutting machine
Trimmer
Scissors
As with ordinary easel cards, this version will work with any size you decide to work with. For my card I have used a Marianne die for the top of the card to give it a nice shape, if you don’t have a fancy die, you could maybe just round the top of.
I have used some very low tack tape to hold the die in place

This is how it looks after it has been run through the die cutting machine

Turn the card over and fold the card in half

Fold the back of the card in half again, back in on itself

I have used a sentiment topper on the back of the card as a stopper

I have decorated the front of the card with a tea bag matted onto a die cut and then decorated it with gems.
Download the pdf file on the free download page of the main site.

Hello Bloggers! Have you had a good weekend? I hope so.
I spent the day in Spalding yesterday, starting with Springfields shopping outlet, then into town and finally to Baytree nurseries, where they had a reptile show going on. There were lots of different snakes, lizards and even tortoises! I found it really interesting and even got to hold a chameleon myself, isn't he gorgeous?

There are also a couple of resident peacocks in the centre and they are allowed the run of the place, what a strange place to perch though!

I suppose it is ergonomic for him!
