Freebie Friday

Good evening everyone,

I hope you have had a good week and not been washed away with the rain!

I haven't had too much time this week for cardmaking but here is one I did make with ' My minds eye' papers and decoupage.

We have booked our holiday this week and oooh, I am sooooo looking forward to it....

We have booked a 14 day cruise going to Budapest, Vienna and then down through Germany. We have never been on a cruise before, in actual fact this will be the first time my husband and I have been abroad together in our 21 years together! We're not going until November, so plenty of time for shopping before we go!

The freebie this week has been designed with Mothers day in mind but having said that, I have put a birthday sentiment with it as well.

Club projects

Hello again.

I have been out to my card making club today and we were joined by Paula Walters from Doncaster. 

We had 3 projects from Paula today which I thought you might like to see, so here they are:

 The first is a framed easel card.

 The second is a quite simple card, it uses a heart stamp to make a flower.

 The last card is a box with 4 matchbox drawers glued onto a square base, then another square glued on the top and an easel card on the corner of the top.

Good evening everyone, I hope you have had a good week?

My week has been a bit strange as my husband has been refitting our en-suite bathroom, all I can say is thank goodness we have another bathroom! It has been driving me mad all week fighting a never ending job of trying to keep the house clean while he is in and out every five minutes! I still have another couple of days to contend with and then the clean up begins.......

Freebie Friday

Good evening Bloggers, sorry I'm a day late but you know how it is..... time flies as they say!

I hope you are enjoying the new year? I have had a lovely day today with one of my best friends and our kids. We went to Newark in Nottinghamshire and for the first time, we went in the museum and art gallery in the Butter market. We were shown around the museum, the ballroom, the mayors chambers and the smallest house in Newark which is only 6ft 6in wide!

Here are the pictures I took:

As far as making cards go, I haven't had much time lately but here's one I made at club on Thursday.

Freebie Friday

Happy New Year!

I hope you have all had a good Christmas? We have had a wonderful time, it was the first time in 20 years that we didn't have to spend the holidays rallying around the kids. Apart from Christmas and Boxing day, we spent the time doing what we wanted and so we went away to York for the new year, which was brilliant!

I apologise for the lack of posts over the last couple of weeks, but like I say, we have been away a lot but things are back to normal now.

The Freebie for today consists of 5 backing papers in indigo blue, please be patient for the file to download as it might be a bit slow.
